Before.
Arrive 10 minutes early for your first float.
Avoid shaving, tanning, and waxing to prevent skin sensitivity.
Hair color should rinse clear if dyed.
Tattoos must be at least 4-6 weeks through healing. The salt will fade and burn your tattoo if it is too new.
We recommend avoiding caffeine for at least 4 hours prior to floating.
A small meal 30 minutes before your session should prevent stomach rumbles while floating.
We provide towels, contact cases, earplugs, sandals, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a prep room with blow dryers. No need to bring anything unless you want to apply your own makeup afterwards.
Each room is completely private with a shower and changing area. Floating nude provides the best experience!
We highly encourage pregnant women to float! Floating is a way to relieve the weight of the baby off of the mother. Please consult with your physician if you are in your third trimester before coming in, or if you have any concerns.
Females experiencing their menstrual cycle the day of their appointment should follow the same protocols as at a swimming pool or reschedule their float session.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed to float.
During.
Shower.
Wash off all of your body oils and hygiene products before entering the water.
Salt.
Try your best to avoid rubbing your eyes. There will be a spray bottle of fresh water just in-case!
Anti-Gravity.
Slowly lean back into the water to avoid splashing. Let the warm water embrace you, and feel your body decompress.
Music.
We have soothing music to help you transition into a relaxed state. Feel free to bring your own music as well.
Light.
Control the ambient lighting to illuminate the room, or turn them off for the innermost experience.
Focus.
With all distractions removed from your environment, you may notice pain or tension that you typically deal with everyday. Just breathe and let the epsom salt help to heal your body. The longer you float, the more the sensations will dissipate.
After.
Get ready for the Post-Float-Glow.
Take a shower to rinse off the salt and then head into the lounge to chill out and bask in the glow.
Drink some soothing tea or read about the experience of others in our Float Journal. Feel free to add your story!
We have a prep room for makeup and hair if you need to be somewhere directly after your float.
Don’t forget to take notice of how you feel the next day! Did you sleep better or did your mood brighten?
Our goal is to help everyone feel better! We hope you return soon to keep that Post-Float-Glow!
